EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS REPORTS RECORD FRANCHISE SALES IN FIRST HALF OF 2013

Oklahoma City, July 15, 2013 -- Express Employment Professionals continues to achieve record growth with 40 new franchises awarded in the first half of 2013, the same number awarded during all of last year. The strong performance comes on the heels of the staffing company’s “30K for 30” campaign, in which new franchises are being awarded $30,000 in working capital to launch their new businesses. The campaign is in honor of company’s 30^th anniversary.

“2013 is shaping up to be the best year in company history,” said Bob Funk, CEO and chairman of the board for Express. “This is the result of increased awareness about the incredible growth potential for our franchisees. Since the average investment is less than $140,000 and the average mature Express territory generated sales of more than $5.1 million last year, Express has one of the highest average return rates in franchising. Additionally, the demand for temporary staffing continues to grow.”

Funk credits the success of Express Employment Professionals with increasing response and closing rates from franchise candidate outreach. The company has screened more than 4,700 potential franchisees already this year.

Express expects to add an additional 42 locations in 2013. Target markets include Tucson, Ariz., Santa Rosa, Calif., Omaha, Neb., Long Island, N.Y., Jacksonville, Fla., Miami, and Boston.
