Easton, Md.— Horizons Window Fashions was named Supplier of the Year by Decorating Den Interiors, North America’s largest interior design and home furnishings franchise company. This award is given for outstanding service as well as innovation of products and incentives.

“Horizons also was honored for having the highest sales out of more than 100 suppliers involved in our Preferred Supplier program,” said David Haseley, vice president of merchandising and marketing.

Hunter Douglas and Kasmir Fabrics also were honored with Achievement Awards at Decorating Den Interiors 45th annual conference and supplier market held recently in San Diego. Surya was recognized for outstanding growth.

“Our Preferred Supplier program covers a wide range of home furnishings products and is a cornerstone of our business model. These four were particularly outstanding in 2013,” said Haseley. “Our partnerships with suppliers across the U.S. and Canada distinguishes us in the design business.”

Supplier partnerships key for new website

Haseley also noted the company’s supplier partnerships were key to the development of the products section of Decorating Den Interiors new website.

“Prospective clients can easily navigate through nine categories of home furnishings,” he said. “There is information about styles and quality, and explanations about personalizing and customizing to give clients a room design that is their own.”

“Last year, our average sales per franchise outlet increased by double digit percentages above 2012 levels to an all-time high, above pre-recession levels,” he added. “And, we added 23 franchises. Our supplier network is the foundation on which we build. We are grateful to all of them.”
