Since 2008, Golden Group International, Ltd, (GGI), has been dedicated to the manufacturing of environmentally friendly and cost effective products for the disposal of personal hygiene items in public restrooms, including: baby diapers, tampons and sanitary napkins, adult incontinence products, and non hazardous medical waste.

In 2008, GGI developed the S.A.C. product line; “Socially Acceptable Containment”. S.A.C. products work to reduce plumbing clogs, pump damage, flooding, and loss of use as well as to reduce cross contamination protecting workers and users. In addition, the S.A.C. systems keep restrooms cleaner, reducing litter, paper waste and odor, resulting in less maintenance time and costs. Proper disposal of feminine hygiene items is also a concern for local municipalities where wastewater treatment facilities acknowledge that a large percentage of their corrective maintenance call outs are caused by women flushing feminine hygiene products. This damage at local levels affects everyone.

Women today are active – work, travel and go to school. Seventy percent of these women use tampons and will flush them if not provided with a solution. This concerns everyone who maintains a facility that serves the public or employees.

In August 2012, we met Ted Landgraf (CEO/Founder) of Above the Standard Procurement Group® (ATSPG) and he explained his company’s philosophy about how they help their clients reduce overall operating costs while implementing strategies that are not only cost effective but good for the environment. This philosophy is in line with our efforts at GGI and we feel that together, with the commitment from Ted and his team we can help achieve these goals for our clients, reach new clients, and grow nationwide and globally.
