More than a companion care company, Senior Helpers provides complete in home personal and companion care to seniors.
Business Features
Senior Helpers is a leading provider of quality, compassionate, in-home care, and assistance for the elderly since 2002. With offices located throughout the country and around the world, we provide a comprehensive range of services to help facilitate comfortable and independent in-home living. We provide families across the nation peace of mind when it comes to their loved ones who need may need little assistance around the house or full-time supervision and care. As a franchisee of Senior Helpers, they get the best of both worlds: a chance to make a positive impact in their community as well as live out their dreams of business ownership. Becoming your own boss has never been easier or more fulfilling when you open a franchise with Senior Helpers.
Recession Resistant
Through COVID-19 all Senior Helpers locations have remained open to provide essential care to those in need. During this difficult time, our home care franchise excelled with the outstanding support provided to our franchisees and allocated over $700,000 out of their marketing fund to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to each office across the Nation. Senior Helpers has and will continue to provide care and comfort at a moment’s notice. Sales have increased by double digits for 2020. Before the pandemic, the senior care industry was already a $400 billion industry and growing. With senior populations expected to grow by 25% over the next 10 years, reaching the 72 million marks by 2030 and 84 million by 2050, a senior home care franchise will endure both health and financial crises. According to a survey by AARP, 86% of the 50 plus population in the U.S. want to stay in their home while aging. Those surveyed believe staying in their home offers a better quality of life and is less expensive than nursing home and assisted living options. The current crisis has heightened not only the senior population’s desire to stay in place – but has raised awareness of the types of aid that will be necessary for non-medical needs.
Competitive Advantage
New Owner Training Process
Once a franchisee signs a franchise agreement, they will hit the ground running and will complete virtual training that will lead up to their 6-day new owner training that is held at our corporate office in Maryland. The new franchisee is provided with an operations manual that is detailed and will help support the franchisee in their day-to-day business. Senior Helpers provides experienced training for internal staff and caregivers through Senior Helpers University online which offers over 400 courses. The training is on-going and we also provide regional in person training for our different programs such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
