Springdale, Ohio, July 12, 2010 — The hot new Buffalo Wings & Rings in Tri County will celebrate the opening of the 7,000-square-foot restaurant off Princeton Pike with a special Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, July 17, 2010. The event will feature a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. with Springdale Mayor Doyle Webster and members of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce. A charity donation will immediately follow with community partner Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries. Then, the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and the first 100 customers through the door receive a FREE Buffalo Wings & Rings pint glass and exclusive coupons for future visits. Four of those 100 pint glasses will have a $100 gift card inside!
At 3 p.m., members of Princeton High School’s athletic department will spar against one another in a wing-eating contest. Coaches from the football, baseball, boys’ basketball, fast-pitch softball, wrestling and soccer teams will compete in what’s sure to be a messy competition! The coaches will be battling for not only bragging rights, but the opportunity to bring their team back for more wings, compliments of the restaurant. The event is followed by a half-price appetizer special for the public from 4 to 7 p.m.
From 7:30 to 10 p.m., restaurant goers can look forward to a post-dinner performance by the popular Princeton High School Jazz Combo. And, a prime time visit from the Budweiser Girls starting at 10 p.m. is sure to be a lot of fun, with beer sampling and free giveaways.
Co-owners and Lithuania natives Edvin Rajauskas and Val Kirielius formed a partnership in pursuit of the American dream with the joint venture on June 23, and are now ready to celebrate the opening of Buffalo Wings & Wings with the community.
“The first few weeks of business presented some exciting and rather interesting challenges,” Edvin said. “We are looking forward to officially celebrating the opening of our new restaurant with the people who live and work in the Springdale community on July 17.”
The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu features a wide array of fare suited to both adults and children, including traditional and boneless Buffalo-style wings, and hand-breaded chicken tenders – all available in nine sauces with five customizable levels of heat.
