Express Oil Rolls Out Co-Branded Tire Engineers Stores
Birmingham-based Express Oil Change and Service Center has introduced stores that also feature the services of recently acquired company Tire Engineers as it plans for expansions in coming years.
Express, which bought Birmingham-based Tire Engineers in February, opened seven co-branded stores in July and plans for 25 more by the end of this year. The company said the 35 existing Express Oil locations in Birmingham will eventually be co-branded stores.
“We are excited to make this investment and start our co-branding in the Birmingham market,” said Express CEO Ricky Brooks, in a press release. “Our company will always focus on providing outstanding customer service by emphasizing integrity in every action. We are now truly a one-stop shop for all automotive needs.”
According to a press release, the company will open “supercenter” stores in Riverchase and in Oak Mountain with more mechanical bays, tire storage and larger customer waiting area.
The Express Oil and Tire Engineers locations will have full offering of tire services in addition to still featuring the 10-minute oil change and other services for which the company is known.
Express has 195 corporate and franchise owned locations in 12 states, and is planning to expand with 15 new centers nationwide this year with a goal of 250 in 2015.
