Life Gets Sweeter in Sweetwater with New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

(Sweetwater, TX) Jay and Ratna Devdhara’s love for cooking is what attracted them to opening a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in their hometown of Snyder. On Thursday, September 18 at 11 a.m., the couple will expand their business with a new location in nearby Sweetwater. To celebrate their expansion, they are hosting a three-day grand opening. The first the first 50 guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.

Friday’s party includes $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches and radio station 103 The Bear on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year. Guests can grab Dickey’s Barbecue gear with all day merchandise giveaways on Saturday.

“My wife and I have enjoyed working with Dickey’s Barbecue and when the opportunity arose to own a second location, we couldn’t resist,” said multi-unit owner, Jay Devdhara. “Our love for cooking drew us to the restaurant business, but Dickey’s Barbecue got us into the barbecue business.”
