Staffing Franchise Shows Strong Sales and Solid Investment Returns OKLAHOMA CITY, May 2, 2012 – Express Employment Professionals recently released its 2012 Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that boasted strong sales figures and a solid return on investment for the nations’ largest privately-held staffing franchisor. According to the FDD, the average Express territory posted $4.5 million in sales in 2011, which is a $2 million increase from 2009. Franchise offices opening since 2009 have seen an average of $965,000 in first year sales. “It’s prime time to be part of the $105 billion staffing industry,” said David Lewis, executive director for franchising. “The industry is projected to grow to $164 billion by 2018. And, with Express’ Core and Expanded Ownership Models offering two investment options, it’s never been easier to become an Express franchisee.” Express’ Core Model requires an investment of $100,500 to $135,000 and an active role in new business development by the franchise owner. The Expanded Model requires an investment of $152,500 to $193,000 and is formatted so the franchise owner will manage a sales staff of two and work with them to develop client relationships. “Express plans to award 64 new franchise locations in the U.S. and Canada this year,” Lewis said. “We offer franchisees the opportunity to build income and equity while helping people find jobs and impact their community. As an Express franchise owner, you can control your life with flexible weekday hours in a professional business.” Express began franchising in 1985 and ranks No. 1 in the staffing and HR franchise category by Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 for 2012. The staffing company has been named a World-Class Franchise since 2006 with a 98 percent approval rating from franchisees on the quality and opportunity of the Express system. In 2011, Express experienced its best year in 29 years of business, with Express franchisees generating $2.1 billion in combined sales. Express Employment Professionals helped 335,000 people find jobs in 2011. With nearly 570 franchises in three countries, Express provides expertise in evaluation hire, temporary staffing, professional search and human resources.
