USA Insulation Franchises Grow As Farmers Almanac Warns of Bitter Cold Winter
September 16, 2009 - Home insulation is on the rise as consumers prepare for a rough winter. According to The Farmers Almanac, the coldest periods will occur during the second week of December, most of January and mid-February. A snowstorm is expected around Thanksgiving with additional snowy periods in December, January, February and March. While there will be mild periods in between, this winter will be, on average, one degree lower than normal.
USA Insulation added several new franchise locations in 2009 to answer the increasing demand for home insulation. The newest offices are currently serving Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Omaha, NE, Portland, ME and the Central New Jersey area.
“Our Indianapolis insulation franchise opened in May and has been consistently busy, despite the mild summer”, says USA Insulation President, Patrick J. Pitrone. “The Maine insulation and Nebraska insulation - Omaha insulation franchisees are already heavily booked for evaluations”, Pitrone says, “as homeowners prepare for dropping temperatures and unpredictable gas prices. The Chicago and New Jersey offices are also expected to have a busy season because of the impending bitter temperatures in the Midwest and Eastern United States.”
The Federal Energy Tax Credit has served as a powerful incentive for adding home insulation in 2009. Homeowners who add USA Insulation before the end of this year will be eligible for a tax credit of 30% of the expense, up to $1,500. This has driven many individuals, who have been considering insulation, to act now. Most consumers who choose to add insulation are seeking lower monthly utility bills and a more comfortable home environment.
