September 16, 2009 - Home insulation is on the rise as consumers prepare for a rough winter. According to The Farmers Almanac, the coldest periods will occur during the second week of December, most of January and mid-February. A snowstorm is expected around Thanksgiving with additional snowy periods in December, January, February and March. While there will be mild periods in between, this winter will be, on average, one degree lower than normal.

USA Insulation added several new franchise locations in 2009 to answer the increasing demand for home insulation. The newest offices are currently serving Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Omaha, NE, Portland, ME and the Central New Jersey area.

The Federal Energy Tax Credit has served as a powerful incentive for adding home insulation in 2009. This has driven many individuals, who have been considering insulation, to act now.
