Wild Birds Unlimited to Reveal Innovative Visual Merchandising Strategies at Enterprise Leadership Conference
Enhancing the Customer Shopping Experience is the Focus of This Year’s Conference
Carmel, Ind. – With more than 30 years of experience in franchising, Wild Birds Unlimited will welcome all members of the company’s franchise system from June 25th – 29th at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis for their 2013 Enterprise Leadership Conference.
The annual event will bring together the entire franchise system to reveal new store innovations including, new store design and interior messaging. Along with these physical changes will come professional retail training for franchise store owners and their sales associates. These new innovations will drive the customer experience, infusing it with energy and excitement, emphasizing that excellence differentiates the brand. Furthermore, the week-long conference contains an action-packed agenda, filled with exciting news about sales opportunities and technology enhancements for the upcoming year that will help franchise owners and consultants achieve success in 2013.
“From the first franchise in 1983, to a network of 281 franchises throughout North America, Wild Birds Unlimited continues to evolve and succeed as the first and largest franchise catering to the backyard bird feeding hobbyist,” said Jim Carpenter, President and CEO of Wild Birds Unlimited. “Excellence differentiates our business in the market by offering the best bird seed, the best bird feeders and the best local advice to our customers.”
The Wild Birds Unlimited corporate office will present a lifetime achievement award, called the Franchise Honor Award, to a franchise owner that has consistently followed the Wild Birds Unlimited system and has contributed to the growth and improvement of the system through time, energy, enthusiasm, creativity and sharing with others. The Friend of the Environment Award, also presented at the conference, recognizes a franchise owner who has given back to nature by devoting time, energy or financial resources to causes that improve the quality of the environment.
“This award is the epitome of WBU awards,” said Kathy Haigh, past recipient. “It’s what we’re all about, bringing people and nature together, and working to that end within your community outside the walls of your store.”
